Dear Janice and Linda, I’m so saddened to see that your Dad has passed away. I have so many good memories of him when he came to the clinic. It was just a pleasure to take care of him. The hard part of moving away was leaving kind people like your Dad. Everyone at the clinic loved to see him. My sincerest condolences to you both.

Our sincere sympathies to you Janice and Linda and your families. Every time Jack and John met they commented on the colour ties they were wearing. According to Jack, John’s tie choice never matched his political leanings. I remember that Jack was the only man that was the right size to wear Mom’s wedding dress. He wore it well to many events at Littlewood Church. We cherish many great memories of Marion and Jack. Two great people. Sending hugs and love, John and Jean Willsie.

Our Sincerest Condolences Janice/Brent & family, Linda/Ed & James. We all spent many years on both our farms together and have many good memories of family times together.
May all your beautiful memories give you peace at this time and into the future. Uncle Jack and Dad can now again milk the cows and bring the hay together and share meals with your Mom and Nancy. All our love and prayers.

Condolences to my friend Linda and her sister Janice and the rest of their extended family from our family (the Peggs). I first met Marion and Jack at the basement apt on Sarnia Road where I started living with Linda and two other girls. When I called him Mr. Baker he immediately corrected me and was Jack to me from then on. They always treated us roommates so warmly and welcomed us often to their dairy farm, a pleasant respite from our university challenges to a world where we learned about their daily challenges and how well they mastered them. I'm blessed to have crossed paths with Jack and Marion Baker.

Janice, Brent, Linda - I have no words to express my sincere sympathy for the loss of your dad. I've never known a man quite like him. I cannot hear the name Jack without cracking the biggest smile and having a warmth come over my heart.
Jack truly was a great man, a handsome man, a kind man, the most gentle eyes, the kindest smile, such a gentle soul, a comedian, an advisor, a listening ear, a leg puller, a jokster...so many more amazing things to me and so many others. The list is endless.
I will always remember, cherish, and hold near, the nights where I had the honour, and privilege of going in at night to see your dad. We'd watch the end of jeopardy, chat about our day, solve the problems of the world, discuss where in the world Linda might be traveling, how sweet wee little Ebony was, talk about old story about involving Marion, or just talk about just how wonderful his girls are.
I truly adored your father and loved every chance that I got to interact with him. I will never forget him (or your precious mom)
