Ennie Jewell

Peacefully at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance on Monday, September 12, 2022, Ennie Greta Jewell of Oneida London, at the age of 91 years.  Predeceased by her husband Kenneth Jewell (1976).  Loving mother of Carter (Debbie), Jackie, Charlene (Austy), Margo (Edison) and Fred.  Proud grandma of many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.  Also survived by many cousins.  Predeceased by her mother Maude Powless-Deleary and her children, Kenneth Jr. (Caddy), Barbara Claudine, Lorne Levi, Beulah Maude, and Kenneth Baldwin (Bugga).

Friends may visit at the McFarlane & Roberts Funeral Home, 2240 Wharncliffe Road South, London, Ontario (519) 652-2020 on Sunday, September 18, 2022 from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. where the Celebration of Ennie’s life will be held on Monday, September 19, 2022 at 11:00 a.m.  Interment Oneida Cemetery.  Donations to the London Coffee House, 371 Hamilton Road, London, Ontario N5Z 1R7.  On-line condolences are available through www.mcfarlane-roberts.ca. 

Ennie was a faithful member of Faith Tabernacle Church for over 40 years.  She was a volunteer at Mission Services for over 20 years and was known as the “Sandwich Lady” at the London Coffee House for making sandwiches for the less fortunate for over 15 years.  Her door was always open for anyone in need.  Ennie was also a Master Speaker of the Oneida language and taught others for over 10 years.
