So sad to hear of Roger's passing. His enthusiasm for life and words of wisdom ... along with his morning muffin from Remark ... will be missed!! You both have been in our thoughts over the past few weeks.
Even though we knew it was close in coming the loss of a truly best friend like Roger is so hard to accept. He was one of a kind, always upbeat and encouraging with his hugs and friendly words. There never will be a greater friend and cycling supporter. We love you Yvonne and we are with you in our thoughts and prayers.
My condolences to Yvonne and family. Roger was a great man and his spirit was contagious. He always told me when he thought I could win with conviction and offered his encouragement when I lost. He was a fixture of the cycling community and will be sadly missed but not forgotten.
Yvonne, I read each entry before writing this, and it is so evident that you and Roger have both made such a positive impact on so many people. As a couple, you always inspired me with your love for each other. Roger's smile and positive disposition were guaranteed were infectious - something much needed in this world. He shared Grandpa (Albert)'s love for cycling, and it was great to talk to him not too long ago at the Velodrome. I'm quite sure Roger and Grandpa are smiling, laughing and talking about a variety of topics and solving the world's problems together! Hugs to you Yvonne.

Something made me check the LFP obituaries today and with great sadness I saw Roger's name. Roger & Yvonne were massive supporters of cycling in the London area and their support, cheers and smiling faces at many races in the '70s and '80 were more appreciated than they will ever know. Roger was always upbeat and friendly and very quick with praise and encouragement. He was truly one of a kind. I will miss him greatly. My deep condolences to Yvonne and family.
Yvonne, I was Sad to hear the news today, Roger was lucky to have such an understanding wife such as yourself. He was an inspiration to me with a positive outlook on life. He loved everyone and didn't mind showing it. I'll never forget him.
