Aitken- Joan (Shepherd) of Westmount Gardens, London and formerly of Delaware passed away peacefully at her late residence on Monday January 6, 2025, while surrounded by her loving family at the age of 86. Dearly loved wife of the late Carl Aitken and loved mother of Wanda Burton, Marlene (Peter) Koning, Liz (Mike) Koning, Don (Tina) Aitken and was predeceased by her son Jeffrey. Dear sister of Jean Payne and sister-in-law of Kay (Joe) Ellul.  Loved grandmother of Kristine, Kaitlyn (Brendan), Carol (Terry), Michael (Kristin), Alyssa (Dave), Brandon, Jessyca (Cameron) and great grandmother of Jasmine, Olivia, Arya, Aydin, Andrew, Oliver, Robbie, Rikki, Grace, Lucas and was predeceased by her grandson Jordan. She is lovingly remembered by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

An Open house visitation will be held at the Mcfarlane & Roberts Funeral Home 2240 Wharncliffe Rd S London on Saturday, January 11th from 2-3p.m. with words of remembrance at 3:00 pm.
