Obituary of Rosa Marzaro

Marzaro- Maria Rosa -It is with deep sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of Maria Rosa Marzaro on November 16, 2024, in London, Ontario, at the age of 85. Rosa was born on November 24, 1938, in Rivignano, Udine, Italy, to Eugenio and Gioiella (Di Paoli) Rosso. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Giovanni Marzaro, brother Rino Rosso and sister Pierina (Rosso) De Monte. Rosa is survived by her children,    Sergio Marzaro (Joanne), Linda Pomanti (Robert), and Silvio Marzaro (Sally), as well as her cherished grandsons, Jonathan, Kevin, and Brent including brother Franco (Grace) Rosso, sisters Pia Rosso and Stelina Rosso. She will be fondly remembered by her extended family and friends.

Rosa was known for her exceptional hospitality and culinary talents, always welcoming others into her home with a warm meal and open heart. Her love for cooking and hosting gatherings made her a beloved figure among her friends and family.

Rosa also dedicated time and effort to helping others, having traveled to El Salvador on two occasions to assist the staff at the Home Father Vito Guarato Catholic Orphanage, an experience that touched her deeply.

In her later years, Rosa enjoyed spending time in Florida during the winter months, creating many happy memories with her family and Floridian friends.

A private visitation will be held for family members. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to all who offered their love and support during this difficult time. Rosa’s kindness, generosity, and unwavering devotion to her family will be missed by all who knew her. May she rest in peace. Donations can be made to the Boys and Girls Club of London in memory of Rosa.
