Obituary of Arnold Dally

Dally – Arnold of London, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 29,2024 at the McCormick Home at the age of 95. Beloved husband of Marion C. (Reidt) Dally for 68 years. Loved father of Arthur Dally, Janice and her husband Robert Brown and Allan and his wife Robin Dally.

Proud grandfather of Colin, Curtis, Reece, and Owen.

Dear brother of Arthena Underwood and Wilbert Dally. Predeceased by his brother-in-law Kenneth Underwood and sister-in-law Geraldine (Reidt) Dally and his parents Charles and Elizabeth (Dunn) Dally.

 Arnold was born August 16,1929 in Minto Twp. His early life was spent on the farm and in his twenties, he started his career that led him to be a heavy equipment mechanic. Arnold continued to fix heavy equipment for farmers across southwestern Ontario for many years after retiring. He loved his family, enjoyed playing cards, bowling, dancing and some good fiddle music, going for a drive, and fixing things.

The family would like to thank the staff of McCormick Home for the exceptional care and kindness that was given.

A graveside funeral service will be held at the Clifford Cemetery, 91035 W. Heritage St., Clifford, ON N0G 1M0 on Friday October 4^th at 1:30pm. Rev.Art Hiley officiating.In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the McCormick Home Foundation, 2022 Kains Rd. London, ON N6K 0A8.
