Obituary of Dave Loker

Loker, George “David” of Komoka passed away peacefully on Monday September 2, 2024 at the age of 86. Husband of the late Dorothy Loker (2023). Loved father of Daniel, Davey. Proud Grandfather of Kyleigh (Craig), Cody (Erika), Dan (Jessika), Cassidy (Mark), Tyson. Cherished Great-Grandfather of Makenna, Levi, Aleena & Brantley. Dave was a loved uncle, sibling, friend and so much more. 

Dave was a lifelong resident of Komoka. He was proud to be the business operator of Komoka Machine for many years, serving his community. Even after his 'retirement' you wouldn't find him too far from a lawn mower and a wrench.

Dave was one of a kind, a true old-school cowboy who always spoke his mind. He loved racing, fishing, team sorting and fixing anything he could get his hands on. He could often be found sneaking his great grandkids an ice cream and a juice box.

He will be missed at coffee time in his garage, weekday lunch at the Little Beaver Restaurant, Friday nights at Delaware Speedway and Sunday morning trail rides. 

A visitation will be held at the McFarlane & Roberts Funeral Home 2240 Wharncliffe Rd S Lambeth (519 652 2020) on Tuesday September 10^th from 6-7 pm.  Donations to Victoria Campus Verspeeten Cancer Clinic gratefully acknowledged. On-line condolences available through www.mcfarlane-roberts.ca
