Obituary of Paul McCombs

 McCOMBS- Paul Jeffrey 

After a courageous battle with cancer Paul passed away on Sunday June 9 at home surrounded by family and friends at the age of 64. 

Paul is predeceased by his parents Jack and Lillian (Ferguson) McCombs.  Paul is survived and lovingly remembered by his family, sister’s Arlie (late Walt) Koslowski and Carole (Frank) Basilio and his brother John McCombs along with his nieces and nephews:  Lisa, (who was close to Paul) Susan, Jennifer, Dana, Sean and Kelly and 10 great nieces and nephews.

 Paul is also lovingly remembered by a large group of very close friends some dating back to Paul’s childhood.  He loved life and had many passions that included boating for over 25 years at Port Franks along with his love for riding his Harley Davidson and Skiing.  Paul was a true friend who cherished those relationship, he was a person of goodness and kindness.  He lived many adventures in life and shared those adventures with many of his friends.

Paul was born in London Ontario and after his school years spent his career working at Kelloggs Canada where Paul also had many good friends some who continued to be an important part of Paul’s life right to the end. Special mention of Kelly, Gina, Daryl, Dave and Rick, friends that supported Paul to the end with amazing love and compassion making it possible that Paul’s wish to stay at home would be fulfilled, they were angels in Paul’s life. 

Also thanks to all the physicians / surgeons, nurses and health care providers, Paul was grateful for the care.   And special mention to the Palliative team who saw Paul through to the end, he was so thankful for the care and compassion.  

The funeral and celebration of Paul’s life will be on Saturday June 15 at McFarlane & Roberts Funeral Home, 2240 Wharncliffe Rd S, London with visitation at 11AM followed by the service at 12 Noon PM followed by a reception. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Paul are asked to consider The London Humane Society, on line condolences available through  www.mcfarlane-roberts.ca
