Obituary of Audrey Jane Bear

Bear- Audrey Jane (McKnight) of Delaware passed away on Tuesday April16, 2024 at the age of 92. Beloved wife of the late Donald L. Bear (2010) and loved mother of Ted and Sheila Bear, Susan and Stacey Stoykewich, David and Alice Bear, Carrie Bear, Dan Bear and Karen Kumagai. Proud grandmother of Andrew, Derick, Kevin, Amanda, Sean, Garrett, Hannah and Ruby and is the great grandmother of Nathan, Emily and Kenna. Loved sister-in-law of Dennis and Brigitte Bear and Loretta Bear. Dear sister of David McKnight, Rick McKnight and Maxine Johnston, she is survived by a number of nieces, nephews and cousins. Audrey was born February 13, 1932 in Stratford, the daughter of the late Alice (MacAdam) and Freeman McKnight.

Cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be announced in July. Donations can be made to the Humane Society or the charity of one’s choice in memory of Audrey.
