Obituary of Gligor Vasic

Vasic- Gligor of London passed away on Monday, December 18^th, 2023 at the University Hospital at the age of 88. Dearly loved husband of 45 years of Milena (Djokovic) Vasic. Proud father of Darko and his wife Leandra Vasic of London. Loved “Deda” of Natalija and Milos. Gligor is survived by brothers Drago and his wife Zivanka Vasic of Serbia and Vladamir and his wife Borka Vasic of France. He is survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Gligor was born February 15, 1935 in Serbia, the son of the late Ljubo and Vukosava (Stanisic) Vasic. He was a member of the St. Sava Serbian Orthodox Church and was a former machinist prior to retirement.

Resting at McFarlane & Roberts Funeral Home, 2240 Wharncliffe Rd. S. London, N6P 1L1 where visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 19^th from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Sava Serbian Orthodox Church, 5567 Wonderland Rd., S. London on Wednesday, December 20^th at 1:00 p.m. Interment to follow at Woodland Cemetery. Donations can be made to St. Sava Serbian Orthodox Church in memory of Gligor.
