Obituary of Janet Gilmour

Gilmour- Janet (Darby) of London passed away on Saturday October 21^st, 2023 at the age of 90. Beloved wife of the late William Nelson Gilmour (2007). Loved and faithfully adored and never forgotten by her son William Hugh Gilmour. She is the last of her family, Janet was born May 26^th,1933 in Smethwick, Staffordshire, England. Janet was the office administrator at the family insurance brokerage before retirement.  She enjoyed her gardens, dancing, outdoors, Frank Sinatra and classical music. She had a natural curiosity about the world around her, she loved theatre and shows.  

A Funeral service was held at the McFarlane & Roberts Funeral Home 2240 Wharncliffe Rd., S in London on Tuesday morning, Rev. John Brown officiated. Cremation followed. If desired donations can be made to the Cancer Society, Wildlife Federation or the Heart & Stroke Foundation in memory of Janet.
