Georgina Mandrapilias

With heavy hearts, we say goodbye to our beloved mother, grandma, and great-grandma, gone to be with her beloved husband Klair (2022) and son-in-law Peter (2022).  Georgina immigrated to Canada in 1959, eight months pregnant to make a better life.  She worked various jobs until she worked for 25 years at Siemans Automotive.  Daughter of the late Dimitri and Kaliopi Mandrapilias of Greece, died in her 86th year, leaving us with her legacy of love and her strong fearless personality.  Her children, Patricia (late Peter), Jim (Dimi), Stella (Loui), her beloved grandchildren Georgia (Nathan), Maggie (Jim), Dino, CJ (Carlie), Spiro, Stavro, George and Maria, and her love of great-grandkids Kostaki, Claire, Leo, Alexi, Peter and Alexandra were her proudest moments.  Survived by her sisters, Tasia, Greece and Tula (Nick) Florida.  Predeceased by 2 sisters and her brother.  She will be missed by many from her apartment complex and her short stay at Elmwood Place where she was treated like a queen.  We will miss your loving smile.                                                                                                        

Visitation will be held at the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, 131 Southdale Road, West, London, Ontario, on Friday, August 25, 2023 from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m., where the Funeral Mass will follow at 10:30 a.m.  Interment Woodland Cemetery, London, Ontario.  Donations to Holy Trinity Orthodox Church gratefully acknowledged.
