It is with profound sadness that the family of William (Bill) Welbourn announce his peaceful passing on Monday January 30^th, 2023 at the age of 81 years.

Those who knew Bill knew how kind and gentle he was and how he loved his family.  Bill will be lovingly remembered by his son Charles, his wife Rachael and his grandchildren Mathew and William.  He will also be dearly missed by his friend Wayne Thorpe, many nieces and nephews, as well as his four legged friends Buddy and Sarg.

Bill was predeceased by his loving wife Frances (1996) and brother Jack (2019).

Cremation has taken place and a visitation to celebrate Bill’s life will be held at the McFarlane & Roberts Funeral Home,  2240 Wharncliffe Rd. South in London (Lambeth) on Wednesday, February 8th from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.  A private family graveside service will be held at Elmdale Cemetery in St. Thomas, ON.

Memorial donations to the London Humane Society, 624 Clarke Road, London, ON N5V 3K5 as Bill dearly loved his furry friends.  On-line condolences are available through www.mcfarlane-roberts.ca.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the friends he made during his stay at Middlesex Terrace as well as the nursing staff for the excellent care and compassion given to Bill during his stay.
