Peter Atkinson Kershaw

It is with profound sadness that the family of Peter Atkinson Kershaw announce his passing, at Victoria Hospital on Sunday, January 8, 2023 after a long battle with Alzheimers.  Beloved husband of Margaret after a long happy 66 years of marriage, the love of her life and best friend, he will be dearly missed.  Loving father of Karen and Wayne, proud grandfather to David, Emily, Christopher, Maya and Serena. 

He served 9 years in the Royal Air Force before coming to Canada in 1966.  He was a professional engineer, the Director of Engineering for Siemans.  Through his career held many awards and patents.  He was also an active member of the London Pacers for many years and received lots of recognition for his achievements.  Peter was also a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 501, Lambeth, Ontario.  Cremation has taken place. 

A memorial service will take place at the McFarlane & Roberts Funeral Home, 2240 Wharncliffe Road South, London, Ontario N6P 1L1 (519) 652-2020 on Friday, January 13, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. to celebrate Peter’s life.  Donations to the Alzheimers Society, 435 Windermere Road, London, Ontario  N5X 2T1 or the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 501, 7097 Kilbourne Road, London, Ontario N6P 1K5 gratefully acknowledged.  On-line condolences are available through www.mcfarlane-roberts.ca .
