Patricia Gail Mertes

Passed away peacefully at Victoria Hospital, London, Ontario, Wednesday, July 6, 2022 at the age of 79.  Beloved wife of 59 years to Carl.  Dearly loved mother to Walter and Karen, Leanne and Robb and Eddy and Kerrie. Proud Nana to Alexandra and Joe, Ryly and Brandon, Nathan, Natalie and Katie.  Dear Great Nana to Dominic and Aurora.  Daughter of the late Donald and Margaret MacDonald.  Dear sister to the late Ronald MacDonald, Ruth and Russ Richards, the late Daniel MacDonald and Donna Sikorski.  Sadly missed by her sisters-in-law Judy and Colleen MacDonald, her many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. 

At the family’s request, there will be no visitation or Funeral Service.  A celebration of Pat’s life will be held on Saturday, October 1, 2022 at The Royal Canadian Legion Lambeth Branch 501, 7097 Kilbourne Road, London, Ontario N6P 1K5 from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m.  Donations to the charity of your choice gratefully acknowledged.  On-line condolences are available through www.mcfarlane-roberts.ca.  McFarlane & Roberts Funeral Home, (Lambeth) 519-652-2020 in care of arrangements.
