It is with great sadness tha the family of Eileen H. Downes announces her passing on Wednesday, September 22, 2021, at the age of 101, at University Hospital in London.  Beloved Mother of Anna, Phil (Shirley), Rob (Betty).  Loving Grandma to Stephen (Lana), Jason, Curtis (Nikki), Aron (Jessica), Spencer (Kelci), Logan (Rachel), and Great Grandma to Leah, Alexis, Lucas, Paisley and Beau.  Survived by her loving brother Phil (Wendy) and nieces and nephews in England. 

We are grateful for the loving support received by Dr. Matusa, Dr. Kodi and Nurse Ros, as well as the many VON staff and PSW's, Miranda, Melissa, Tina and Geraldine.  Eileen was grateful for her special friends, Barb, Anna, Trish and Bev.  A private family service will take place on Friday, October 1, 2021.  On-line condolences can be left at www.mcfarlane-roberts.ca.  McFarlane & Roberts Funeral Home, Lambeth (519) 652-2020 in care of arrangements.
