Peacefully at Victoria Hospital on Thursday, August 5, 2021, Al Burtwistle of London at the age of 74 years.

Beloved husband of the late Madeline Burtwistle (2012).  Loving father of Cheryl Howard and Bob Hanson and the late Chuck Burtwistle (2020) and his soulmate Sue MacNeil.  Proud grandfather of Miranda and Shawn Thompson and Bob’s sons Rob and Jordan.

Friends may visit at the McFarlane & Roberts Funeral Home, 2240 Wharncliffe Road, South, Lambeth 519-652-2020 on Monday, August 9, 2021 from 2-4 pm where the celebration of Al’s life will be held on Tuesday, August 10, 2021 at 1:00 pm.   Due to the pandemic and as per the BAO, visitation and Funeral Service numbers are restricted.  Please call the Funeral Home (between 10 am and 7 pm) to reserve a time to visit with the family and also attend the celebration of Al’s life.  Donations to Diabetes Canada, 77 Bessemer Rd Unit 11, London, ON N6E 1P9 gratefully acknowledged.  On-line condolences are available through www.mcfarlane-roberts.ca.
