Gordon Melville Mair

Loved as a father, grandfather and uncle, Gordon Melville Mair of London passed away peacefully at University Hospital on Monday, July 12 , 2021 in his 81^st year with his boys by his side.  He was predeceased by his loving wife Sheilagh, parents Melville and Leonie (Chita) Mair, sister Jennifer Mair and grandson Myles Mair.  He will be dearly missed by loved ones he leaves behind:  Kirk and Mari along with their daughter Ryan, Brett and Amie, along with their twins Sheilagh and Oliver.  He will be missed by his nieces, nephews and the many people whom his life has touched.

Friends may visit at the McFarlane & Roberts Funeral Home, 2240 Wharncliffe Rd., S., Lambeth 519-652-2020 on Wednesday, July 21, 2021 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm.  Due to the pandemic those wishing to attend the visitation are asked to call 519-652-2020 to reserve a time to visit with the family.  Masks or face coverings are mandatory.  A private family celebration of Gord’s life will be held at St. Michael and All Angels Anglican Church on Friday, July 23, 2021 with Reverend Archdeacon Sam Thomas officiating.  Cremation has taken place.  Donations to the Make-A-Wish Foundation 551 Oxford St W Unit 207, London, ON N6H 0H9 gratefully acknowledged.  On-line condolences are available through www.mcfarlane-roberts.ca.
