Norma Fletcher

Peacefully at her home, with her loving family by her side, on Friday, October 9, 2020, Norma Marie Fletcher of Lambeth in her 80th year.  Norma worked all her life for the Bank of Montreal until her retirement in 2004.

Beloved wife for 59 years of Jim Fletcher of Lambeth.  Loving mother of Nancy and Greg Campbell, Leila Fletcher, Brenda and Michael Brooks, and Robert Fletcher.  Proud grandmother of Karly and Shane, Stacy and Michael, Justin, Chase, Alex and Tony, Evan, Stephanie, Emily, Claire, Andrew, Jamie and Ty and her great-grandsons Owen, Brecken and Campbell. 

Dear sister of Ross and the late Jeanne Blackman, the late George Blackman and his wife Izetta, the late Harry Blackman and his wife Sondra.  Several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.  Predeceased by her parents, Earl and Elsie Blackman, her father and mother-in-law Howard and Clara Fletcher, her sisters-in-law Marion and Don McPherson and Donna and Mike Bannon.

Friends may visit at the McFarlane & Roberts Funeral Home, 2240 Wharncliffe Road S., Lambeth (519) 652-2020 on Wednesday from  2:00 – 4:00 and 7:00 – 9:00 p.m.  Due to the Covid19 pandemic, visitation numbers are restricted.  Please contact the funeral home at 519-652-2020 to secure a time to visit the family  Face masks/coverings are mandatory.  A private family celebration of Norma’s life will be held on Thursday, October 15, 2020.  Cremation with interment Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens at a later date.  Donations to the charity of your choice gratefully acknowledged.  On-line condolences are available through www.mcfarlane-roberts.ca .
