With great sadness we announce the passing of Douglas Collin Gough at Valleyview Home, St. Thomas on Tuesday, September 22, 2020 in his 84th year.  He was born in Westminster Township on October 28, 1936.  Doug was married to Marlene (nee:  Robins) Gough for 61 wonderful years.  Loving father of Kim, Steve and Sharon and Brian and Barb.  Proud grandfather of Don, Nicole (Brandon), Bradley, Jackie (Matt), Cory, Kyle and Kassie.  Dear brother of Georgina and the late Elmer Carroll, Blake and Evelyn Gough, Betty and the late Walter Gough, Isabelle and the late Morley Gough, Delmer and Doris Gough and Joy White, Alice and Ron Jones, Mryla and Dave Coatsworth, Argyle and Marion Gough, Rose Marie and Don Thompson.  Dear brother-in-law of June and Vic Barker, the late Joyce and Dow Wilson and Carol and Keith Bailey.  Also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.  He will be missed by his many friends and family.  Doug drove truck for C.B.M. Cement for 29 years.  He loved nascar races, camping, snowmobiling and travel to Europe and throughout Canada and the USA.

Due to the Covid19 pandemic, a private family celebration of Doug’s life will be held at the McFarlane & Roberts Funeral Home, Lambeth, 519-652-2020 with Reverend Matthew Penny officiating.  Cremation with interment Dorchester-Union Cemetery.  Donations to the Parkinson  Society, #117-4500 Blakie Road, London, Ont.
