Ruby May Poole

With heavy hearts, the family announces the peaceful passing of Ruby May (Baker) Poole on Tuesday September 15, 2020 at Strathmere Lodge. Ruby was born on September 6th, 1919 in the community of Littlewood to parents Fred & Fanny Baker (deceased). She married Tom Poole (1914 -2000) in July 1940 and moved to Lambeth where she and Tom owned and operated Lambeth Electric for many years. She is survived by her 3 children, Leroy (Betty) Poole, Norm (Jewel) Poole and Donna (Doug) Macpherson. She was dearly loved by her 8 grandchildren Karen (Ian) Masson, Brenda (Matt) Ryan, Craig (Jenny) Poole,  Wannetta (Dave) Bradshaw, Glenda (Kerry) Lynch, Jeanette (Sean) Pink, Cheryl (Dan) McDonald & Anne (Dave) MacDonald. She adored her 19 Great-grandchildren, Chelsey, Shaylan, Max, Jack, Ryder, Jake, Olivia, Evan, Benjamin, Carson, Owen, Denise, Troy, Ellen, Adam, Quinn, Tristan, Claire, & Sydney. Predeceased by her brother Vernon Baker (2006).

A private family service will be held at Lambeth United Church on Saturday, September 19th with Rev. Matthew Penny officiating. There will be no visitation due to COVID 19 restrictions.
