Obituary of Carol Ruth Gagnon

Carol  Gagnon,

Peacefully at Victoria Hospital on Tuesday, August 11, 2020 with her loving family by her side Carol R. Gagnon (Smith) of Newbury in her 68th year.  Beloved wife of the late Michael (Mick) Smith.  (1987). Loving and cherished wife for 4 years of Henk Wiltink of Newbury.  Loving mother of Tina and Don Aitken of Dutton and Sean and Tracy Smith of Edmonton, Alberta.  Proud Nana of Carol and Terry McKnight, Michael and Kristin Aitken, Alyssa and Dave Aitken, Telsey and Ricky Rose, and Kyle and Janessa Smith and 7 great-grandchildren.  Dear sister of Shirley and Herb Vanderwielen, Doris and Dennis Bourque, Bruce and Elaine Gagnon, Scott and Sue Gagnon, the late Gail Hardy (2006), the late Cliff Gagnon (2013) and the late Nelson Gagnon (2016).  Many nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.

Friends may visit at the McFarlane & Roberts Funeral Home, 2240 Wharncliffe Road, South , London 519-652-2020 on Sunday, August 16, 2020 from noon to 2:00 pm.  A private family celebration of Carol’s life will follow at 2:00 pm.  Due to Covid19 as per the Bereavement Authority of Ontario, a restricted number of people are able to attend the visitation at specific times.  Please call 519-633-3927 to select a time you would like to attend.
