Obituary of David Reginald Rush

David R. Rush

As the result of an auto accident, on Thursday, August 22, 2019, David R. Rush of London, at the age of 71.   Beloved partner of Linda Smart. Loving father of Michael Rush and Chris Rush (Tyrean Rush). Proud Papa of Taylor, Lauren, Kayla (Gary George), Dylan, James, Keane, Kyla, Shaelyn, Reed, Blair, and great grandfather to Mckenzie. Brother of Don, Clayton, and Cheryl. He will be loved and missed by his extended family, Kelly Smart and Tara Smart (TJ Stoltz). Predeceased by his parents, Donald and Margaret Rush.

Dave was a man of routine, he loved the community of London and his home in Glanworth. For the last ten years, he's focused much of his time collecting and selling antiques and collectibles. Every morning he'd go out on his route to find "diamonds in the rough" in order to bring them new life. Dave will be missed by all those who knew and spent time with him throughout his life.

Friends may visit the McFarlane & Roberts Funeral Home, 2240 Wharncliffe Rd. S, Lambeth,  519-652-2020 on Wednesday, August 28, 2019, from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM where the celebration of Dave's life will be held at 1:00 PM. Private family interment St. Peter's Cemetery.
