Jean Etta (Fordyce) White November 9, 1923-February 26, 2019

Peacefully at Glendale Crossing on Tuesday, February 26, 2019, Jean Etta (Fordyce) White of London in her 96th year, after living life to its fullest and rarely seen without a smile on her face.  Jean was a Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, travel guide, artist, cook, gardener, fashion queen, decorating advisor and hostess with the mostest.  Beloved wife for 57 years of Doug White (2003).  Jean loved her family and will be greatly missed by her children Jim (Sheila), Barry (Kathy), Susan (Gerald 2014) and Sharon (Chuck), her grandchildren: Sean (Shruti), Katherine, Mike (Lisa), Doug (Monica), Barry (Tina), Haley, Heather and Alex; her great grandchildren: Brianne, Madison, Lucas, Andrew, Dianna, Hillary and Abigail as well as many nieces and nephews.  Jean is predeceased by her siblings Muriel (Jack), Marjorie (Gord), Alec (Doris) and Mary (Harold) and her brothers and sisters in law Audrey (John), Jack (Tessie), Phyllis (Fred) Connie (Angus), Shirley (Fred) and George (Audrey). 

Friends will be received at the McFarlane & Roberts Funeral Home, 2240 Wharncliffe Road South. Lambeth 519-652-2020 on Saturday, April 6, 2019 from 10-11am where the Celebration of Jean’s life will be held at 11am.  Chaplain Maureen Dwyer officiating.  A private family interment has taken place at Dorchester Union Cemetery.
