I met Mary when she came to Hospice of London to volunteer as a visitor in the community offering a friendly visit, compassionate ear, warm and genuine presence. Mary was one of the most reliable, open and positive people I've met. She left her imprint in a lot of lives, she truly was a beautiful soul that cared about everyone's well being.

We met Mary through the Trefoil Guild which is a section of the Girl Guides of Canada. She was always willing to hold a Garage Sale when raising funds for the Trefoil Guild. She was such a wonderful person to talk to and share company with her.
We give praise and thanksgiving to God for the life of Mary and for all lives she touched during her time with us.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the family at this time of loss.
God bless
Maureen and Patricia (Pat)

Hello, I have such good memories of your mother when she was a volunteer at Hospice of London. I was part of the staff there and was responsible for assessing palliative clients who requested a volunteer. Many times the Volunteer Coordinator and I would say, " See if Mary can go. She is just the right person for this client". Her nursing background and her genuine caring demeanour made people feel safe and welcomed. I hope that you can take comfort in knowing that Mary left such a meaningful mark on many people.

We're so sorry for your loss. Ludwiga and I spent many happy hours with Mary and Bruno and the Dubecs as newcomers to this great land - we laughed, we remembered those we left behind - but most of all we looked to a bright future filled with good times, hard work, and a happy life together. Your mother was loved and the profoundly sad feelings you have now are a reflection of that love.
Yours most Sincerely
John & the kids

I am soo sorry to hear about your Mom. I remember a few years ago when your Mom & Mia Vandenhazel came to visit my mom at her house. I remember the laughing & the enjoyment the 3 of them had. That brought back sooo many great memories. I will cherish them forever. Especially the great ones from our Innerkip property. Your mom & dad will always have a special place in my heart
