Obituary of Jean Evelyn Nutchey

Jean Evelyn Nutchey (Dobson)

Jean passed August 21, 2018 at Glendale Crossing surrounded by family.  Jean was the beloved wife of the late Harry Nutchey  (1992), and the dear mother of David (Carlene) of Texas and Don (Barbara) of London.  She was the dear grandmother of Cassandra.  She was the loved sister to Barry (Marilyn) Dobson and the beloved aunt of Randy (Elizabeth), Stephan, Tara (Peter) and Shawn.  She was predeceased by her second husband Joseph Fiore (2010). 

Jean was a good friend to Ray and Sue Tremblay, Mary Ross and Mario and Jenn Proulx, all of Iroquois Falls.  Jean was born in Iroquois Falls, Ontario on January 16, 1926.  She was a bookkeeper, court stenographer, and an active member of the United Church Women. 

Friends may visit at the McFarlane & Roberts Funeral Home, 2240 Wharncliffe Road S., Lambeth (519) 652-2020 on Sunday, August 26, 2018 from 2 – 4 p.m. where the celebration of Jean’s life will follow at 4:00 p.m.  Cremation with interment at Abitibi Cemetery, Iroquois Falls, Ontario at a later date.  Donations to the charity of your choice gratefully acknowledged.   On-line condolences and donations are available through www.mcfarlane-roberts.ca.  

The family wishes to thank Dr. Whynot for his excellent and empathetic care of our mother.  We are also grateful to the nurses and PSWs of Glendale Crossing, especially Theresa, Natasha and Cassandra who provided such care and attention.
