Marion Thomas

Unexpectedly at Victoria Hospital with her loving family by her side, on Tuesday, May 29, 2018, Marion L. Thomas (nee:  Wright) of Lambeth in her 95th year.  Beloved wife for 71 happy years of the late Donald Thomas (2017).  Loving mother of Terry and the late Hugh Smibert (2015) of Dorchester, Paul and Dianne Thomas and Reg and Susan, all of Lambeth.  Proud grandma of the late Sandra Smibert (1978), Scott and Michelle Smibert of Dorchester, Dean and Tara Thomas, Ryan and Michelle Thomas, all of London, Brent and Danielle Thomas of Byron, Reggie Thomas of Lambeth, Lindsay Thomas and Mike Wagner, Dylan Thomas and Blake Thomas, all of Lambeth.  Loving great grandma of Tavish, Alex, Collin Smibert and Garren, Evin, Payton, Georgia, Tessa and Hank and Grace Thomas-Wagner.  Dear sister of Madeline Stevens of Watford and sister-in-law of Wanda (Thomas) Wright of St. Thomas and Hugh Thomas of Lambeth.  Predeceased by her siblings Leslie, Morgan, Merrit, Ivan, Kenneth, Don, Bob, Harold Wright and Muriel Summers.

At Marion’s request there will be no visitation.  A private family celebration of Marion’s life will be held in the Stevenson-McWade Chapel of McFarlane & Roberts Funeral Home, 2240 Wharncliffe Road, South, Lambeth 519-652-2020.  Cremation with interment Christ Anglican Church Cemetery, Glanworth at a later date.  Donations to the charity of your choice gratefully acknowledged.  On-line condolences and donations are available through www.mcfarlane-roberts.ca.
