Obituary of Neil Lavern Stone

Neil Lavern Stone 

It is with sadden hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Neil Lavern Stone of Wardsville on September 1, 2017 in his 86th year. Treasured dad of Tammy (James) Hodgins and Michele (Kenneth) Andersen. Proud grandpa to Amanda (Andrew) Walsh, Haley (Alethea) Andersen and Connor Andersen. Cherished companion of Marion Hedden. Dedicated brother to Grace Fulton and Clara Smith. Loved by nephew Wayne and his wife Mary Jo Stone.  Welcomed into heaven by his grandson Adam Hodgins and his late wife June Stone. Remembered by stepchildren Lois (John) Stokley, Alice Noble, Nancy (Andy)  Lorbetskie and the late Thomas along with his step-granddaughters Carly (Luke) Kenny and Jennifer Harrett and step great-great-grandchildren Patricia and Anthony Greco and Jenna and Nala Harrett.  Neil always said each day he awoke and was breathing was another blessing so take this message and live each day to the fullest as he did. He will be always in our hearts and dearly missed.


Friends may visit at the McFarlane & Roberts Funeral Home, 2240 Wharncliffe Road South, Lambeth (519) 652-2020 on Friday, September 8, 2017 from 11 – 1:00 p.m. where the Celebration of Neil’s life will follow at 1:00 p.m.  Cremation has taken place.  Interment Siloam Cemetery.  Donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, 180-633 Colborne Street, London, Ontario, N6B 2V3 www.heartandstroke.on.ca  gratefully acknowledged.  On-line condolences are available through www.mcfarlane-roberts.ca.
