THANK YOU FROM THE FAMILY
We would like to take this opportunity to extend our sincere appreciation to family and friends for the many kindnesses shown during the recent passing of our father. Thank you to those who sent cards, floral tributes and donated to the Heart and Stroke Foundation and to the STEGH Cancer Program and to those who called at the funeral home to extend their sympathy. The kind words, personal memories and prayers of Chaplain Frank Mantz and the beautiful music of guitarist Michael Ray made the service a true Celebration of Life. Branch 501 of the Royal Canadian Legion (Lambeth) held a touching memorial service for dad which will not be soon forgotten. Thank you also to the ladies auxiliary of the legion for the wonderful lunch. A special thank you is extended to the nurses and staff at Ashwood Manor whose daily kindnesses were often commented on by dad. Finally, the quiet professionalism of the staff at McFarlane and Roberts Funeral Home in Lambeth and their anticipation of our every need made a very difficult situation easier. It too is greatly appreciated. This sad time was made more bearable by every one of you.
