Obituary of Anna Luise Bonna

Anna Luise Bonna (Haberlein) Born August 18th, 1916 in Hof, Germany, died May 18th, 2015 in her 99th year. She left this life as fiercely and determined as she came into it. Beloved wife of the late Bogdan Bonna (2010). Anna immigrated to Canada with her family in June of 1954. Like many of her generation, she worked hard and was proud to be a Canadian. Sadly missed by her daughters Linda Golder (Green), Esther Graham (Paul) and Gerda Bauer (Georg) of Germany. Survived by grandchildren David, Susan, Jeff (Betty), Cindy, Ainsley and spouses as well as three grandchildren in Germany. Great grandmother to Chris, Madison, Carter, Ella, Alexandria and Gabriel. Six great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild in Germany. Lovingly missed by Laurel Johnson (Ron). There will be a private family visitation at McFarlane and Roberts Funeral Home, Lambeth. A celebration of Anna’s life will be held at a later date at Mount Hope. In lieu of flowers, donations would be appreciated to Animal Aide St. Thomas, Ontario.
