Obituary of Tom Head

Tom Head It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Tom Head in his 87th year. Tom was the beloved husband of 66 years to Mary, loving father to Cathy, Janice (Ed), Tom Jr. (Wendy), Dan (Bonnie, 2010) and Julie; pre-deceased by his son Peter (1950) and brother Ron of England. Tom was a proud Poppa to 13 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren (and one on the way). Tom was a devoted employee of Ellis Don for more than 25 years and was one of the original founders of Tonda Construction Ltd. Tom served in the Royal Navy from 1945 … 1947. Tom was a patient leader and a wonderful role model. He shared his passions with those he loved and touched the lives of everyone he met. He enjoyed a game of golf, he always had a project on the go in his workshop, he faithfully cheered on the Toronto Maple Leafs, and he loved to work on the daily crossword puzzle. The sound of him whistling while he worked and his soft singing voice will be dearly missed.
