Obituary of Barbara Ann O'Brien

Barbara O’Brien At Parkwood Hospital with her family by her side, on Wednesday, August 13, 2014, after a courageous journey, Barbara Ann O’Brien (Nee: Walker) of Lambeth peacefully passed away at the age of 76 years. Beloved wife for 57 years of Sonny (Graham) O’Brien. Loving and proud mother of Shawn (Janet), Jeff (Nancy), Dan (Lisa) and Wayne (Vicky). Barb cherished her grandchildren Cody (Kayla), Haley, Jacqueline, Jocelyn, Nicole, Devin, Riley, Shaylynn, Quinton, Bryce, Colton and Keegan. Dear sister of Jim (Marion) Walker. Predeceased by her parents Lorne and Dorothy and her daughter Barbara Ann. She will be missed by many sisters and brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends including her companion “Chloe”. Barb was raised in Lambeth and loved community events, crafts, music and dancing. Friends may visit at the McFarlane & Roberts Funeral Home, 2240 Wharncliffe Road, South, Lambeth 519-652-2020 on Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm where the celebration of Barb’s life will be held on Wednesday, August 20, 2014 at 1:00 pm.
