Obituary of Myra Rodrigues

Myra Rodrigues Myra Rodrigues (nee: Sells), passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side in her 92nd year at Huron Lodge in Windsor on Saturday, November 26, 2016. Born in Iroquois Falls, Ontario in 1925, she was the beloved and dedicated wife for 67 years of William Arthur Rodrigues (2014). Lovingly remembered by sons Jim and Dianne of Windsor and Michael of London, along with caring granddaughters Lisa (Matthew) and Dayna all of Windsor. Also survived by granddaughters Leigh and Jaime, grandson Matthew and their mother Lynne all of the London area. Predeceased by siblings Robert and Edward Sells and Eleanor (Ross) Saint. Fondly remembered by her nieces Alicia, Maria and Melissa and nephew André. Myra contributed many years of social involvement to her husband’s membership and fundraising in the Western Ontario Fish & Game Club as well as the Wellington Sportsman’s Club. Interment Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. In Myra’s memory, as she was a most kind and gentle woman, consider performing random acts of kindness. Thank you to the caring staff and volunteers of Windsor Huron Lodge where for the past 15 months she received special care. The family also wishes to extend appreciation to London C.C.A.C. and Co-ordinator Deb Laubert and her dedicated team of PSWs. The London Salvation Army Senior’s Day Program offered Myra meaningful activities and fun as her health declined.
