Cedric Everton Richards
September 9, 1957 – August 25, 2025
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Cedric Everton Richards, while surrounded by his loving family and friends on August 25, 2025, in London, Ontario.
Born in Birmingham, England, Cedric spent his early childhood in the UK before moving to Canada at the age of nine. He was the beloved son of the late William and Mavis Richards. He will be lovingly remembered by his siblings: Gleston (Essie), Maureen (Keith), Desmond (Carmel), Elise, Marcia and was predeceased by his brother Clifton.
Cedric will be forever remembered as a proud father to Talithia (Marti), Cedric Jr. (Laura) and Torrell (Melanie). He will be remembered fondly by his special friend Karen Koch. He had an infectious laugh and was truly an unforgettable man who lived each day to the fullest. A lifelong car enthusiast, Cedric’s passion led him to serve as both President and Vice President of the Corvettes of Western Ontario, where he built lasting friendships and celebrated his love for driving. He had retired from the Ford Motor Company Talbotville Assembly Plant.
The family extends special thanks to the dedicated staff at Victoria Hospital for their compassionate care.
Visitation will be held at the McFarlane & Roberts Funeral Home 2240 Wharncliffe Rd S London, on Thursday September 18, from 6-8 pm.The funeral service will be held on Friday September 19, at 11:00 am followed by the interment at the Woodland Cemetery. Donations can be made to the MDS Foundation in memory of Cedric.
