To my Sherry berry. The tatoo was for our 25th anniversary of the GCW. A symbol of all of us having a long and strong friendship. We have had so many amazing memories and silly crazy times together. I met Sherri in 1993/4 when my family moved into the co-op on Banbury Rd in London. We became friends with Sherri, Rob and Carli almost instantly. A few years later the Gustin’s moved to Glanworth and we moved to Belmont. Sherri and I always stayed in contact through out the years, she was especially great at remembering birthdays and singing happy birthday to you in person or over the phone. Our 30+ years of GCW was crazy fun and we all have so many memories that will always be treasured, from her great laugh, funny stories, surprise drink and food recipes, love of music (Steve Miller Band) always reminds me of her).
Rest easy my dear friend I will miss you so much !

Despite living with COPD, Sherri never let it dim her spirit. She continued to show up to our annual cottage weekend with an incredibly positive attitude and that unforgettable belly laugh… the kind that could snap even the grumpiest person out of a mood.
The Cloisters crew shared a truly special bond, and the memories we made together will last a lifetime. Sherri, you will be missed more than you could ever know here on earth, but I find comfort in imagining your dad and Rob greeting you with a warm hug.
My heart aches. I’m sending so much love and strength to your beautiful daughter, your mum, Pegi, Wayne, and to everyone whose life you touched so deeply.
We’ll be sure to raise a “Mama Rosa” in your honour at our next weekend.
