Obituary of Ronald Pyatt

Pyatt- Ronald James, it is with sorrow that we announce the passing of Ronald James (RJ) Pyatt on May 10, 2025 at the age of 88. Survived by Helen, his wife of 35 years. Father to Kevin (Kim) Pyatt and stepfather to Colleen (Gary) Snyders and James Tomlinson. Grandpa Ron to Sarah (Doug), Joseph and Natasha Pyatt. Papa Ron to Justin and Jennifer Tomlinson. Great Grandpa Ron to Grace, Zachary, Faith, Nathan, Ainsley, Haven, Gavin, Madisyn, Brooklyn and Leighton Pyatt. Great Great Grandpa to Kaiden Pyatt.

Ron is predeceased by his parents Garfield & Mary (McArthur) Pyatt, and his sister Margaret (Jack) McAlpine. Survived by his brother Harold Pyatt. He will be fondly remembered by nieces, nephews, extended families, friends and acquaintances.

For 67 years Ron was a Freemason and was a member of the Prince of Wales Lodge #171. The family wishes to thank the staff at the McCormick Home , Willowridge for all their care and compassion.

  Cremation has taken place.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, August 10, 2025 at the Lambeth Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 501, 7097 Kilbourne Rd London, from 2-4 pm.  Donations to the Alzheimer’s Society or to the McCormick Home in memory of Ron. McFarlane & Roberts Funeral Home 2240 Wharncliffe Rd S Lambeth entrusted with the arrangements.
