Obituary of Evelyn Theaker

Theaker- Evelyn (Kettlewell) of Lambeth passed away peacefully at home on Friday, March 28, 2025, at the age of 92. Beloved wife of the late Donald Theaker. Loved mother of Carol & Jim Jones, predeceased by her son Rob, dear mother-in-law of Carol Theaker. She was a loving and devoted grandmother to 11 grandchildren and great-grandmother to 20 great-grandchildren. Dear sister of the late Lloyd (late Bell) Kettlewell, Roy (late Marilyn) Kettlewell, Larry (Mary Ann) Kettlewell and is fondly remembered by the Theaker family in-laws and by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family. She will especially be missed by her numerous friends in Lambeth and the surrounding area. Evelyn was born February 8,1933, in Ekfrid Twp. She had deep faith and was a committed member of the Byron Community Church and prior to retirement she was a familiar presence at Lambeth Drugs for over 35 years. 

Visitation will be held at the McFarlane & Roberts Funeral Home 2240 Wharncliffe Rd S Lambeth on Wednesday, April 2, 2025, from 6-8 pm. The service will be held the following day at the funeral home on Thursday April 3, 2025, at 1 pm. Private family interment at the Appin Cemetery. Cremation has taken place.
