Obituary of Jerry Spearman

Spearman- Gerald Lloyd “Jerry” of London passed away peacefully on Tuesday February 18, 2025 at the University Hospital at the age of 75. Beloved husband of the late Karen (Rodgers) Spearman and dear brother of David and his wife Betty Spearman. Special uncle of Jennifer (Marc) Sleaford and Jeff (Megan) Spearman and great uncle of Emily, Claire, Riley, Brady. Jerry is survived by sisters in law Susan, Tracey Rodgers and niece Ashley (Rodgers) Baker and is remembered by numerous cousins and friends. Jerry was born on October 8, 1949 in London, the son of Lloyd and Elizabeth Spearman. He enjoyed travelling, photography, art and memorabilia. He was an admirer and train collector and was a woodworking craftsman.

Funeral service will be held at the McFarlane & Roberts Funeral Home 2240 Wharncliffe Rd S., London on Tuesday, February 25, 2025 at 12 Noon, followed by a luncheon. Visitation will be prior to the service from 10:30 til 12. Private spring interment at the Glanworth Christ Church cemetery.  Donations can be made to the War Amps or to the Ganworth Christ Church Cemetery, in memory of Jerry.
