I knew Gayle for a long time, for over 35 years as the mother of my best friend Geoff. Gayle was a strong, resilient lady who didn't mix words. She was funny as hell and had a heart of gold. I will miss her greatly. My condolences go out to Richard and Geoff. Its not goodbye, its just goodbye for now Gayle. Rest in peace.

Rick - So sorry to hear of Gayle's passing. I often think of you and the great eggs we got from you. And remember your son and the terrible accident. Gerry passed away in December 4 years after a stroke.

My husband Harry and I have known Rick and Gayle since about 1980 when we became involved in Scouting in Delaware as leaders. Gayle and I also worked for the Thames Valley School Board. She was always a hard worker and very dedicated to her job. She was also very generous and hospitable, enjoyed a good drink, good food, a game of cards and company. I will miss you dear friend but may you rest in peace.

I met Gayle when I started working for the TVDSB and then worked with her in purchasing services. Gayle was a very kind person but definitely spoke her mind on what she thought and although many wasn’t sure how to take her, I absolutely adored her. She taught me a lot, supported me and gave me shit when I needed it, even if I didn’t agree, lol. My heart is sad but I know she is in a better place watching over as just like the Mother figure she was to a few of us that she worked with. We may have lost her physically but she will always have a place in my heart.
