Adrian Spitters

Peacefully at his residence on Thursday, April 19, 2018, Adrian Spitters of Lambeth in his 94th year.  Beloved husband for 65 years of Corrie (Kop) Spitters.  Loving father of Marian Spitters (Harry), the late Ed Spitters (2011) (Annette), Lisa McLachlan (Kevin) and Richard Spitters ( Cindy).  Proud Opa of Connor (Shalyn), Bianca, Blair (Ali), Michael (Dani), Nicholas (Sam), Brock, Logan and great Opa of Christian and Taysom.  Survived by his brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews in Canada and The Netherlands.  Predeceased by 2 brothers and 2 sisters. 

Adrian was born on August 28, 1924 in Langeweg, The Netherlands.  He married Corrie (Kop) on September 2, 1952 and they immigrated to Lambeth, Ontario, Canada in March of 1953. 

Friends may visit at the McFarlane & Roberts Funeral Home, 2240 Wharncliffe Road South, Lambeth 519-652-2020 on Sunday from 4-7 pm.  Mass of Christian burial celebrating Adrian’s life will be held at St. Justin’s Parish, 855 Jalna Boulevard, London, Ontario, on Monday, April 23, 2018 at 11 am.  Father Mark Maloney presiding.  Interment Sacred Heart in the Fields Cemetery, Mount Brydges at a later date.
