Obituary of Brian Tomori

It is with great sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Brian George Tomori of London Ontario, on Tuesday, August 25, 2026 at the age of 64.

He will be lovingly remembered by his family, friends and all those whose lives he touched. His memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

Brian dedicated his entire working life to Home Hardware Distribution Centre in St. Jacobs, where he built a career and lasting friendships. He became known as the company’s youngest retiree, a remarkable achievement that reflected his dedication and hard work.

Throughout his life, Brian was known for his humbleness, sense of humour, encyclopedic knowledge of Classic Rock music and unparalleled handyman abilities. He had a self-taught talent for building and repairing all types of cars, with a true passion for classic cars, especially TR7s and Porsches. He took his love for classic cars to the next level by becoming a “Long Hauler” on the HOT ROD Power Tour with his custom-built TR7.

Above all, Brian cherished his family and took great pride in his role as Papa. It was a title he wore with immense love and one that brought him the greatest joy.

A public visitation and celebration of Brian’s life will be held on Thursday, September 3, 2026 at the McFarlane & Roberts Funeral Home, 2240 Wharncliffe Rd S, London from 2-4 pm.
