Obituary of Rick Howard

Richard “Rick” Howard of Glanworth passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 23, 2026, at the age of 46, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Beloved son of Ken and Carole Howard, and cherished brother of Suzanne (Devin). Proud and loving uncle to Ashley (Brennan) and Ben, great-uncle to Layla, and loving fiancé of Brigette while caring for Nolan, Milly and Jessica. He will be deeply missed by his many extended family members and countless friends.

Born on June 9, 1980, in London, Rick was a skilled mechanic and a true handyman who could fix anything and everything. He had a passion for his Magnum 300 drag car and could often be found on weekends at the St. Thomas Dragstrip in Sparta, surrounded by his racing family. Rick also loved fishing, boating, and all things outdoors.

Those who had the privilege of knowing Rick will remember him for his kindness, generosity, and genuine care for others.

Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Rick’s life will be held on Sunday, August 23, 2026 from 1-4 pm. at the Lambeth Legion located at 7097 Kilbourne Ave., London, ON. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the Verspeeten Family Cancer Centre https://www.lhsc.on.ca/verspeeten-family-cancer-centre as per his wishes.
