Obituary of Donald Smith

Smith- Donald James Manley, peacefully at Southbridge London on May 29, 2026 in his 92^nd year. Survived by his beloved wife Lorene (Axford) Smith for 67 years. Proud father of Laurie (Mike) Emmerton, Kanata and Greg (Bonnie) Smith, Mississauga. Grandpa to Adam (Tyson), Paul (Sandra), Kyle Emmerton, Marlee Smith. Great Grandpa to Jules, Rosalind, Shiye, Esme and Luka.

Predeceased by his parents Manley and Eva. His siblings Mary, Edna, Helen, Bill and Harold. Uncle Don will be missed by all his nieces and nephews.

Don was a proud member of the IBEW Local 120, Lambeth United Church, London Numismatic Society, Past Master of Delaware Valley Lodge and member of Ashler Lodge, Byron.

Donations may be made to the Lung Association https://www.lung.ca/ A Private family burial will take place. Family and friends are invited to a celebration of life on Saturday, June 13, 2026 at 12 noon at the Lambeth United Church located at 4268 Colonel Talbot Rd., London.
