Obituary of Larry Burch

Peacefully, at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on May 18^th, 2026, Larry Earl Burch in his 90^th year made his journey home. He is survived by his sister, Cheryl, and his children: Frank (Sherri), Darrel, Randy (William), Michelle (Jason), and Candice.

Larry was predeceased by his mother, Stella; his father, Earl; his brother, Delbert; his granddaughter, Amber and his nephew, Aaron.

Papa will be deeply missed by his grandchildren: Crystal (Derek), Fallon (Sam), Natasha, Jade (Michael), Shawn, Soreyn, Nathan, Candice (Stefan) and Mariah; and by his great-grandchildren: River, Keionus, Dravin, Samara, Donovan, Tyla, Alexis, Arya, Kyden, and Mace. Great-great grandchildren Asher & Nellie.

He will also be fondly remembered by his sister-in-law, Shirley, and his nieces and nephews: Brenda (Patrick), Rene (George), Mark, and Theresa (Darcy), along with their children. Special Friends of the Family, Joanie, Marjorie and Irene.

The family wishes to extend their heartfelt thanks to the staff at Oneida Long-Term Care and the Acute Medicine and Palliative Care Team at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital for their exceptional care and compassion. For this, his family will be forever grateful.

The family invites you to visit at 568 Deer Dodem Drive Muncey, ON to celebrate his life and share memories on Thursday May 21 4 p.m. – 8 p.m. & on Friday May 22, for a visitation with family at 12 p.m. followed by a lunch for close friends and family at the Antler River Seniors Complex.
