Obituary of Jane Patrick

Patrick- Jane (nee Johnston) of Delaware ON passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 28, 2026, at the age of 95. Dearly loved wife of the late David Patrick (2018) and loved mother of Judy (Jim) Roks, Lynn (John) Hann and Greg (Marian) Patrick. Proud grandmother of Jake, Kristin (Chris), Julie (Jesse), Bryan, Derek (Penny), Josh (Danielle), Joel (Eleanor), Alex (Hannah), Marusha and great grandmother of Jude, Seraphina, Aquinas, Ed, Cliff, Archie, James and Patrick. 

Jane was born on February 10, 1931, in Blantyre, Scotland, the daughter of Anne and Archie Johnston.  At 18, she left home to visit an aunt and live in Canada for, what she thought would be, a short period of time. Before long she met David Patrick from Delaware, a romance began followed by marriage and the return trip to Scotland never happened.

Jane loved her career as a bookkeeper.  She worked for a few companies but none for as long as Lambeth Drugs, starting in the late 1960’s and finally retiring in 2018.

She was a proud member of London’s May Court Club for many years, and she especially enjoyed her years with the marionette show, creating marionette characters and performing for local schools

As a world traveler, she visited most of the continents of the world with David. 

A Celebration of Jane’s life will be held on Friday, March 13 from 10:00 AM until 2:00 PM with a service and words of remembrance at 11:30 AM followed by a luncheon at McFarlane and Roberts Funeral Home, 2240 Wharncliffe Rd S Lambeth.

Private interment at the Oakland Cemetery.
