Palmer- Taze of London and formerly of Talbotville passed away peacefully at home on Thursday January 29, 2026 at the age of 77. Dearly loved husband of Tish Wentzell and proud father of Natalie and her husband Michael Pullar, Sher and her husband Geoff Rose, Carey Wentzell and Crystal Parkins. He was the loved grandfather of 7 grandchildren and is missed by his sister Heather Stevens (late Johnny) and was predeceased by his sister Etta-Louise Roy (Late Lou). He will be sadly missed by a number of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Taze was born in Talbotville, the son of the late Peggy (Dawdy) and Danny Palmer. Taze was a long-time mechanic and millwright and was a former volunteer fireman with the Talbotville fire department. He formerly raced at the Delaware Speedway and was an avid old school Nascar fan. Taze always looked forward to summer, as he and Tish enjoyed their summers at the Dalewood Trailer Park.
A celebration of his life will be held at the Mcfarlane & Roberts Funeral Home 2240 Wharncliffe Rd S (Lambeth) London on Sunday, February 1st from 1-4pm. Cremation has taken place. Donations can be made to the Cancer Society https://cancer.ca/ in his memory.
