Kriter- Joan Elizabeth (Everets) of Lambeth passed away peacefully on Monday, December 29, 2025, at the age of 86. Dearly loved wife of the late Robert “Bob” Kriter (2023) and loved mother of Kim Rowse (late Jim), Kathy McConnell (Steve Thompson), Brad Kriter (Lou Ann Verellen). Proud grandmother of Jamie Rowse, Kelsey McConnell (Nicole), Mac McConnell (Courtney) and great grandmother of Ella, Carter, Logan, Harper, Grace and Nathan. Dear friend of Claudette, Teri and Andre, Carol Simmons, Jeanette and George, and is loved by several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was predeceased by siblings late Jack Everets (Betty), late Howard Everets(Emily), late Mildred Vollick ( Ken) and late Janet Gifford (Roger). Dear sister-in-law of Marie Moerschfelder (late Roger) and Marilyn and Harold Winger. Joan was born on January 5, 1939, in Rainham Township, the daughter of the late Leita (Mowat) and John Everets. The family wishes to take this opportunity to thank all Joan’s PSW’s, with special thanks to Krystal, and the palliative care team for their care and compassion in caring for Joan.

A  celebration of Joan's life will be held at the Lambeth Legion 7097 Kilbourne Rd., London, N6P 1K5 on Saturday May 23, 2026 from 2-4 p.m. Prior to the celebration the interment of her ashes will take place at the Woodhull cemetery at 1:00 pm.
