Dear Andrew, Chris and Catherine I am sad to hear of Anne's death and I give you my heartfelt condolences. I remember her well from the Byron days when she worked with me/us at the Centre for Studies in Family Medicine and when Chris and Catherine babysat our children. Many happy memories. Here is what I wrote to the Centre a few days ago and I want to share these words with you too. Anne was a mainstay of the CSFM staff for 15 years (approximately 1990-2005) and made major contributions to the analysis of studies such as: Dr Ian McWhinney’s studies of palliative care and cancer care; Dr Martin J Bass’s studies of counselling for cholesterol reduction and of trends in family practice; Dr Stewart Harris’ study of the health of First Nations 1996; and a plethora of studies conducted by the Thames Valley Family Practice Research Unit with Dr Moira Stewart. Anne was instrumental in the active social life of the Centre helping organize Christmas parties, June parties and cake celebrations of major and minor(!) accomplishments.

Anne’s Cousin was my grandmother June Doig and at a young age I remember travelling to London to see the family. I was fortunate to share many memories with Anne (and Roy) growing up and will forever remember those. My thoughts and prayers are with you all
