Deborah Joanne Calvin passed away, peacefully, on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at the age of 66. Debbie was born to Laurence Calvin and Freda Brownell on August 1, 1959 in Saint John, New Brunswick. She is survived by her dearly beloved kids, Kiki Maher and Cory Calvin; her partner of 19 years, Cat Benware; and her grandchildren: Zach Benware, Tatyana Vautour, and Ace Barrett. 

In addition to her Mother, Freda; she is also survived by her paternal Aunt, Sharon Hughes and her family and by her sisters; Maddie (Norman) Cobham, their daughter Melissa (Jim) and their children Matthew, Christopher and Ally; Ruth (Sandy) MacDonald, their children Cory, Courtenay, Morgan and Colin, and their children Easton, Rosa and Riley; Cindy (David) Nugent, their daughters Lexie and Isabelle (Kyle), and their children Jackson, Jayla, Avery and Stella; and Elizabeth (Richard) Golding, and their children Jessica, John (Lisa) and Riley. 

Over her lifetime, Debbie accumulated her “Kids”: those she took under her wing when they needed extra love; Lisa, Dawn C, Dawn W, Shannon, Amanda, Alicia, Jason and Crystal. 

She was predeceased by her father, Laurence Calvin, and younger sister,  Lesley “Lala” Cooper.

A celebration of life will be held at the Solaris, 110 Belmont Drive, London, on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, from 6:30-8:30pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Cancer Society in Deb’s Memory would be appreciated. McFarlane & Roberts Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements.
