Breuninger- Walter of London passed away peacefully on Friday, November 7, 2025 at the Victoria Hospital at the age of 95. Dearly loved husband of Joan (Wilson) Breuninger and proud father of Hilda and Archie Appelmann, George and Sylvia Breuninger, Rosanne and Rob Hardy and Gunter and Carlynn Breuninger.

Dear grandfather of Christopher (Jeff), Marcus, Kyle (Kaiti), Justin, Danny, Jennifer (Tanya), Nicole and Logan. Great-grandfather of Wesley, Madalynn, Lucas and Nova. Walter was born August 14, 1930 in Germany, the son of the late Rosine and Leonhardt Breuninger. He retired from Northern Telecom.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening and attending auctions, always looking for that special item he needed. He was a member of the German Canadian Club in London.

The funeral service will be held at the Mcfarlane and Roberts Funeral Home 2240 Wharncliffe Rd S Lambeth on Thursday November 13th at 11:00 am. Followed by a luncheon.  Visitation one hour prior. Donations can be made to the Littlewood United Church in memory of Walter.
